This is our story.

At the beginning, there was a desire to support each other.

The HR Brainstorming Community was formed in March 2021, thanks to the frenzy surrounding employee testing for Covid. This led us to the idea of regular meetings within the HR community to brainstorm about everything that interests us.

It turned out that our platform has something to offer to HR professionals, even though the topic of testing ceased to be current. New members started to join rapidly, and by the fall of 2023, we already had more than 2000 members in our Facebook group and on LinkedIn.

We stick together both online and offline.

In addition to Facebook, where a group chat is very active every day, we regularly meet at joint gatherings. We share know-how among ourselves, we have ambassadors from the ranks of HR experts and for certain topics, experts outside the HR field.

In May 2022, under the leadership of Lenka Sovová, we organized a Job Fair for people from Ukraine fleeing the war. We successfully connected people from Ukraine with employers from the South Moravian region, and the event attracted 1,500 visitors. The initiative was recognized in October 2022 as part of the HR Excellence Awards (HREA).

Our mission is the development and professionalization of HR

In the future, we aim to advance the HR field with our initiatives and enhance the perception of its value within companies. Our goal is to create a secure environment for HR colleagues to share best practices and to organize regular meetings and workshops on topics that we decide through voting.

Lenka Sovová

CEO | HR & DEI Consultant

Lenka has spent most of her professional career in senior HR roles. She has led several nationwide programmes, including one focused on supporting the employment of people on the autism spectrum. In 2021, she founded HR Brainstorming, a community that connects HR professionals across the Czech Republic. She previously worked as a methodologist at the National Institute of Mental Health and was involved in the Jsme fér initiative advocating for equal rights for LGBT+ people in the Czech Republic. She has long provided consulting in the areas of HR, DEI, and ESG and believes that sustainable business is built on fairness and respect.

Kateřina Kuchyňová

Client Relationship Manager

Kateřina has extensive experience in HR, recruitment, and client relationship management. At HR Brainstorming, she supports member engagement, partnership development, and communication with organizations involved in our activities. She enjoys working with people, building long-term relationships, and finding solutions that create value for everyone involved.

Přemysl Chodura

Vice Chairman | Business Analyst

Přemek is Vice Chairman and Business Analyst at HR Brainstorming. He helps design and improve internal processes, oversees compliance, and contributes to the development of the organization’s internal systems and tools. One of his strengths is the ability to connect attention to detail with a broader understanding of how the organization operates. He enjoys finding practical solutions that simplify processes and support the further development of HR Brainstorming.

Sára Miklíková

Marketing & Communications Specialist

Sára is a multimedia student at the University of Pardubice and is involved in graphic design, the conference website, and newsletters at HR Brainstorming. She prepares visuals, assists with website updates and collaborates on communication outputs. She enjoys working with graphic design and photography and gradually shaping concepts into forms that feel natural and clear. She is interested in how visual elements can support content and aims to keep things simple and easy to understand.

Markéta Kučerová

Marketing & Communications Specialist

Markéta studies marketing communication and supports marketing and communication activities at HR Brainstorming. She helps manage the online community, prepare content for communication channels, and update selected website pages. She is also involved in promoting HR Brainstorming events and projects. She likes learning new things and gaining practical experience.

Markéta Raisová

PR & Media Specialist

Markéta studies Marketing Management at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. At HR Brainstorming, she creates content for our social media channels, communicates with media, and prepares articles for our blog. She helps bring HR Brainstorming topics closer to a wider community. She enjoys creative work in Canva and the visual representation of the brand.

Dominika Krainová

Learning Programs Specialist

Dominika brings years of experience in both customer support and HR – from recruitment and onboarding to handling all the behind-the-scenes admin. Today, she combines these skills as the Education Program Coordinator at HR Brainstorming. She makes sure our webinars run smoothly, keeps in touch with our ambassadors and participants, and holds the strings that keep our learning activities running like clockwork.

Yury Nudga

Lead Developer

Yury is a web application developer whose work is also his hobby. He loves exploring new technologies and continuously learning to ensure his projects align with the latest trends in web development. In his free time, he focuses on programming or personal growth, and when he needs to recharge, he enjoys sports. Thanks to Yury, we have a website that supports not only us but, most importantly, our community. His work and dedication to our mission are an essential part of our journey, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

We are a community

HR Brainstorming is not formed just by the most senior HR experts, but by all individuals who care about our field. They invest their hearts into the project, and when it comes down to it, they can come together and contribute something extra. This was also the secret to the success of the campaign on Hithit, which helped to propel our activities further.
